Our Guild hold a quilt show every 2 years and 2015 is a special year for us as we will be celebrating 30 years as a Guild. Come join us October 23rd &24th to see a display of quilts from bed quilts, wall hanging, table runners created by our members. There will also be demonstrations, tea room, vendors' mall, draw baskets, and voting for "best" show quilt.

Admission: $5, men are free
When:         Friday 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We have 200 + quilts from our members, all shapes & sizes, and styles. From large bed quilts, to wall quilts, to table runners. ve you entered your quilt yet?

Tables and Quilting Floor Racks Needed

We will need extra tables at the show so if you have a table either 6 foot or 8 foot we will need to borrow it. These would need to be at the show between 10:00 and 12:30 on Friday.

Lyn is looking for small quilt frames to use as part of her “décor” if you have one please bring on Friday between 10:00 and 12:30 on Friday.

Do not forget to put your NAME on the tables/racks.

On Show Day: Displaying Your Quilts:
Please start thinking about quilts you would like to display in the show, remember the quilts make the show.

Registration Form: double click on the form to download. This form must be presented when dropping off and picking up your quilts.
- Janet will provide the 'entry #' to you at our October Guild meeting. Along with your Quilt Show FRONT Label.
- Please list your entries in 'numeric' order
- Do not lose this page, as it is required when you come to pick up your quilt.
Show Quilt Front Label: double click on the label to download. This completed form must be
- pinned to the front of the quilt, at the bottom right-hand corner
- fold your so the label is facing out
- Your Entry Number will be provided to you based on your registration form at the October Guild Meeting.
Show Quilt Back Label: use your standard quilting label sewn on the back of your quilt. It must have your name.
Hanging Sleeve: Ensure you have 4" hanging sleeve attached prior to dropping off your quilt.
- Refer to General Tips Page for instructions on making hanging sleeves.
- *Please note* each quilt must have a label with your name on it, sewn on the back of the quilt, as well as a 4" hanging sleeve. This must be done before arriving at the registration table.
- Drop off with be between 10:00am and 12:30 (noon) on Friday the 23rd October.

Quilt Show Challenge 2015 is based on our guild celebrating 3 Decades of Loving Stitches

Drop off with be between 10:00am and 12:30 (noon) on Friday the 23rd October. Debra Palmer will have a table beside the Quilts.

Quilt Challenge Rules:

Each package includes: pearls and a piece of green fabric.
Each quilt/project must contain something from each of these materials. (These are the 30th Anniversary color and gem.)
Your quilt/project must also contain a pieced or appliqued balloon.
The finished quilt/project should have a minimum perimeter size of 42 inches to a maximum perimeter size of 172 inches.
Your Challenge needs to :
- be identified with a covered label. (Place your standard label on the back of the quilt, that includes your name. Then cover the label with another fabric so the judging & viewing can be anonymous.)
- have a hanging sleeve. (Refer to General Tips Page for instructions on making hanging sleeves).
Quilt Challenge must be turned in the morning of 23rd October, 2015, in a non see-thru bag (eg. brown bag).
